Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary: information submitted through the website is used to evaluate and respond to your Android engineering request. It is not sold and is not added to a marketing list without a separate request or consent.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Android App Hero is a focused engineering service operated by Andrés Garrido from Chile. For privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion requests, contact androidhero@datalogic.tech.

2. Information collected

When you submit the qualification form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

your name, business email address, and company name;
an app, Play Store, product, repository, ticket, log, or recording URL;
your description of the Android issue and its business impact;
campaign attribution fields such as UTM source, medium, and campaign;
technical and security information generated by the website, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and server logs.

Please do not submit passwords, API keys, confidential source code, regulated personal information, health information, payment-card data, or other highly sensitive material through the public form.

3. Why the information is used

The information is used to:

evaluate whether your request fits the Android Rescue Sprint;
reply to your inquiry and arrange a qualification call;
prepare a proposed scope, acceptance criteria, contract, or NDA when requested;
protect the website and contact form from abuse, fraud, and automated spam;
measure aggregate website visits and conversions when you consent to optional analytics;
maintain records required for contracts, accounting, dispute resolution, and applicable law when you become a client.

4. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location and the activity, information is processed because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a business contract, because there is a legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and securing the website, because it is necessary to perform a contract, or because you gave consent—for example, to optional analytics cookies. You may withdraw analytics consent through your browser storage or by clearing site data.

5. Service providers and international transfers

Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the website and respond to requests, including Hostinger for hosting and email infrastructure, Calendly when you open the scheduling calendar, and Google Analytics only after analytics consent and only when configured. Payment providers such as Wise, PayPal, or Payoneer may process payment information under their own privacy terms after a scope is approved.

Because Android App Hero is operated from Chile and its service providers may operate internationally, information may be transferred outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. Appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards will be used where required.

6. Retention

Unsuccessful or inactive inquiries are generally retained for up to 12 months so the request can be followed up and abuse can be prevented. Client communications, contracts, invoices, work records, and legally relevant records may be retained for the duration of the engagement and afterward for the period reasonably needed for accounting, tax, legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. Data may be deleted earlier when it is no longer needed and no legal obligation requires retention.

7. Analytics and cookies

Essential browser storage may remember your privacy choice. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics” and only when the site owner has configured a valid measurement ID. Calendly resources are loaded when you choose to open the scheduling calendar. See the Cookie Policy for details.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Submit requests to androidhero@datalogic.tech. Identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.

People in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also complain to the data-protection authority in their country if they believe their information has been processed unlawfully.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including encrypted HTTPS transport, authenticated SMTP, input validation, form rate limiting, restricted administrative access, and avoidance of public storage for submitted issue details. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. Information from anyone known to be under the applicable age of digital consent is not intentionally collected.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
